29th October Morning Briefing - The Power of Focus

LEO Dublin City Enterprise Network for Women

Morning Briefing: The Power of Focus

Speaker:          Bernadette Riley, Riley Project Management http://www.rileyprojectmanagement.com

Date:              Wednesday 29th October 2014

Time:                9.30-10.45

Venue:             LEO Dublin City Office, Civic Offices, Block 4, Floor 1, Dublin 8

“People think focus means saying yes to the thing you've got to focus on. But that's not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully. I'm actually as proud of the things we haven't done as the things I have done. Innovation is saying no to 1,000 things.” Steve Jobs

This very practical morning briefing will show you how focusing on the right stuff will change not only your business but also your life. It is packed full of really great and life changing information (no waffle!) and all attendees will receive a pack of hand outs with practical instructions on how to bring focus and its benefits back into their businesses and lives.

We will answer the following questions:

 Who cares?

 What will happen if I don’t focus?

 What matters most right now? What is the ‘right stuff’?

 How do I focus and how do I say ‘no’ to the rest?

 What difference will it make?
